My name is Jayne and I am so excited that you are here!
Music is a part of us all. The first thing we hear is the beat of our mother's heart. Musical potential lies within all of us, all you need is coordination and guidance to unlock the doors to the beauty and wonder of music
It is always a joy to meet new people and to enrich the lives of others by teaching and making music with them. My studio is a place where all can experience the beauty of learning music in a safe and encouraging environment.
I enjoy making music fun and engaging and also to get you to think about music independently. As a teacher, I want to foster a lifelong love of music and not just scales and arpeggios. I believe that the safety of my students is top priority and have been certified in Safe Spaces and Virtus.
One-on-one instruction has been my passion and joy and nothing can compare to the growth students achieve when they are guided along their own individual path. To see a student light up with confidence in their own talent warms my heart. You can’t get that kind of attention and progress in a classroom!
I have been guiding students of all ages in discovering their musical abilities for 5 years. We will build your ideal learning environment together to give you the best opportunity for success in reaching your musical goals. I want to create an environment that is full of positive feedback and leads to confidence in your musical ability.
I believe in a holistic approach in which you choose the path of learning and I will guide you as you explore and expand your knowledge, skills, and appreciation of music. We will build your ideal learning environment together to give you the best opportunity for success in reaching your music goals.

" At the ripe age of 63, I started taking piano lessons from Jayne and believe I have progressed. As a very, very beginning piano student (with no prior experience) I am very proud to believe that I am getting better every day"
"I am 17 years old andI have been working with my private vocal coach, Jayne Irvine, for a little while now. We've only visited a few times so far, and I can already see so much improvement. I love music and singing so much as it is, and to think Jayne makes me love it even more, which I didn't even think was possible! We start each lesson with a vocal warmup, which I am allowed to video record, that way I can listen and practice at home. We practice sight singing and reading music, stage presence, posture, proper breathing, and overall just how to better yourself as a singer. Jayne is very assuring and guides me through everything at the pace that I feel most comfortable in. Her studio is very comforting, and she definitely makes me feel totally at home. I look forward to each lesson because I know she is making me a better vocalist as each minute passes. I am so happy with my decision to work with Jayne. "
"My 11 year old child enjoys her voice lessons and her approach to her singing style has changed for the better!!! She is more poised and confident. I am sorry I did not sign her up in September so she could have begun her voice instruction so much earlier in the school year!!!"
"Very good experience. My 8 year old child is learning and showing a great interest in her instrument. Scheduling, make-ups, payment, and communication are all excellent."
"Communication with Jayne is no problem. She is very accommodating."
